Nonprofit Central Ohio Hospital Council (Columbus, Ohio) and The Alcohol Drug And Mental Health Board of Franklin County (ADAMH; Columbus) are planning to break ground on the Franklin County Mental Health and Addiction Crisis Center in early 2023 in Columbus, according to the website dispatch.com.

Situated on 3 acres, the $60 million facility will house observation  and short-term inpatient units and a walk-in clinic.

RI International (Phoenix, Ariz.), a crisis, outpatient care, housing, and community support services provider, will operate the center.

It’s expected to open in 2025.
