Each of the 3 Doshas Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in our body, have five sub-doshas. Each of these sub-doshas have their own energetic and physical responsibilities within the body. These sub doshas can also go out of balance like Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas.

To know more about Vata, Pitta, Kapha dosha and how they affect you, read my previous blog on this topic by clicking here.

Sadhaka Pitta is a sub-dosha of Pitta Dosha. Sadhaka Pitta has a very special and important role in our body.  Sadhaka Pitta governs mental energy, creativity, beliefs, emotions. It is also responsible for motivation, self-confidence and a feeling of fulfillment. When Sadhaka Pitta is out of balance we may be prone to mood swings, anger and irritability we can be critical intolerant, can get easily hurt and suffer from low self-esteem, feeling of hopelessness which can lead to despair and depression. Sadhaka pitta’s most important function is to connect the heart and mind so that they can work in conjunction.

Prana Vata is a sub-dosha of Vata Dosha. It is commonly known as the ‘life force’ within our body. It governs the brain, head, chest, respiration, mind etc. The main purpose of prana vata is to regulate the workings of the nervous system. Making a person more responsive to touch and sexual pleasure.

When these two doshas work in conjunction it helps revitalize the mind and body and makes you and your partner more sexually active.

The medicinal properties of Rose petals are attributed to their abundance of phenolic compounds. Phenolic compounds possess a wide range of pharmacological properties including antioxidant, free-radical scavenging, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antimutagenic, an antidepressant etc.

A rose literally sooth the heart and balances the mind. It enhances the coordination between Sadhaka Pitta and Prana Vata. By balancing Sadhaka Pitta it enhances positive emotions and intensifies the experience of happiness and bliss. One of the most common issues couples face when it comes to sexual intimacy is that they are either too tired or stressed. According to a research study roses are the most effective natural ingredients to help calm the mind, beat stress and fatigue. Use of fresh Roses and Rose essential oil can also make couples feel happy, rejuvenated and more open to sexual advances by their partner. According to aromatherapy practitioners, roses are the best way to drive away melancholy (a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause). They are also known to open the heart and make one more emotionally available. So if frigidity and incompatibility is your problem then fresh roses and rose essence are the way to go.
