Lemon peels consists of components known as salvestrol Q40 ( natural phytochemical) and limonene, which are known to fight against cancerous cells in the body. Even though lemons are citrus/acidic in nature, once its juice has been fully metabolized and its minerals are dissociated in the bloodstream, its effect is alkalizing and cancer cells won’t grow in an alkaline environment.

2. More vitamins than lemon juice:

Lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins, minerals and enzymes than the lemon juice itself. The lemon peel contains Vitamin C, Vitamin A, vitamin P, fibers, lemonene, salvestrol Q40, polyphenol flavonoids, beta carotene, folate, calcium, magnesium, and potassium etc.
