HCA Healthcare Inc., a not-for-profit operator (Nashville, Tenn.), plans to build five new full-service hospitals in Texas to help meet the state’s growing need for healthcare services.

The new hospitals will be located in cities across the state, including Dallas Fort-Worth and Houston. A facility in San Antonio, Texas, will be developed with Methodist Healthcare Ministries (San Antonio), while two hospitals in Austin will be in partnership with St. David’s Foundation (Austin) and Georgetown Health Foundation (Georgetown, Texas).

HCD operates 45 hospitals and 632 affiliated care sites in Texas.
