The joint venture of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Lighthouse Surgeons, and Woodland Anesthesiology Associates, recently broke ground on a freestanding $26.5 million, 33,000-square-foot Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center in Hartford, Conn.
The facility will feature six orthopedic operating rooms, complete on-site sterile processing, a 26-bay pre- and post-op area, and a double-height reception/ lobby area.
The center will provide treatment for orthopedic patients with sports injuries, joint replacement and spine surgical spine patients, as well as pain management, all in one location.
The Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center is expected to open its doors by early 2020. The S/L/A/M Collaborative and S/L/A/M Construction Services is providing design-build services.
