Healthcare entrepreneurs are an essential part of the innovation landscape and they play center stage at several of MedCity’s events. At the upcoming MedCity INVEST Digital Health virtual conference September 21-25, held in partnership with Medical Alley, digital health startups will present to judges across four tracks as part of the Pitch Perfect competition.

Last week we highlighted the judges for two of the tracks — Chronic Condition Management and Value-based Care and Tech to Improve Payer/Provider Efficiency. This week we reveal judges for the Home Health and Employee Benefits tracks.

At MedCity INVEST Digital Health virtual, you’ll hear from leading physician executives, payers, active investors and the most promising digital health startups aiming to solve some of healthcare’s greatest challenges. Click here to see agenda.

Tickets are available for $149 but an early-bird rate is available for $49 if you register now with the code MCN100. Companies can opt to purchase 10 tickets for a corporate group rate of $399.

Here are the judges for:

Home Health

Cheryl Cheng, General Partner, BlueRun Ventures

Austin Duke, Ph.D., Senior Venture Associate, UnityPoint Health Ventures

Marlon Evans, CEO, Nex Cubed

Employee Benefits

Jennifer Hartt, Director of Investments, Health & Digital Health, Ben Franklin Technology Partners

The conference, held in partnership with Medical Alley, will highlight some of the engaging topics in digital health. Talks at the conference include:

  • How Hospital Innovation is Changing Amidst a Pandemic: Providers rely on elective procedures for much of their revenue so how have they coped when that option has been suspended?
  • How Do We Tackle the Loneliness Epidemic and Behavioral Health Challenges?
  • Entrepreneur Versus VC: A debate on how the future of health insurance can be re-imagined: Hear Bind Benefits co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer Shawn Wagoner and OMERS Ventures Managing Partner Michael Yang argue their ideas.

Sponsors for the conference include: UnityPoint Health Ventures, Fredrikson & Byron, and Deloitte.

All the sessions will be recorded and be available to attendees upon request.
