After more than 27 years in business, the leading provider of electronic healthcare form solutions, FormFast, is announcing a name change that reflects how the company has evolved.

In March of 2020, the company will be rebranding itself to the name Interlace Health.

“We view rebranding our company to Interlace Health as the perfect opportunity to ensure our brand reflects the accomplishments we have made today, as well as our vision for the future,” said Rob Harding, Founder and CEO of Interlace Health. “We have expanded beyond forms on demand to solutions that address the data intersection between patients and providers, providers and staff and other participants in the healthcare system.”

According to a recent study by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), healthcare entities waste more than $226 billion annually due to administrative complexities. Harding said their solutions address this challenge in a number of ways, and will help eliminate wasteful spending. Director of Information at Artesia General Hospital in New Mexico, Eric Jimenez, said Interlace helped his hospital find ways to improve their workflow, which in turn, saved them time and money.

“Artesia has successfully leveraged Interlace Health software to improve our patient engagement and clinical workflow,” said Jimenez. “When we need to ‘interlace’ between systems in the future, we will be sure to look to Interlace Health for a solution to our workflow gaps.”

In addition to electronic forms on demand, the company now provides Patient Intake, Informed Consent, Physician Authorization, as well as aspects of Referral Management. Harding said one of the most important issues his company now handles is accelerating patient payments. The company has also developed
incorporated data integration and report generation capabilities into its solution for health systems.

Harding added that the name change will not have any effect on current business operations or ownership. Interlace Health is currently in 1,100 hospitals and 1,500 clinics nationwide. Interlace Health will continue to integrate its solutions with EHR solutions from Allscripts, Cerner, Epic, MEDITECH, Nextgen among other vendors to ensure the best experience for users of its software.
