Healthcare Design magazine, in partnership with the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo and The Center for Health Design, is accepting entries to the 2023 Nightingale Awards Product Competition.
The annual program, which recognizes contributions to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation, is open to companies exhibiting at the 2023 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo. The deadline to submit a product entry is Friday, Oct. 13.
The annual competition is named for Florence Nightingale, a tireless advocate for the improvement of care and conditions in military and civilian hospitals in the 1800s.
Products are judged for their contribution or solution for clinical or operational outcomes; aesthetics and innovation; built environment solution, durability, functionality, and quality; industry certifications and standards; environmental sustainability; and list price.
Winners will be announced during an awards ceremony at the HCD Expo, taking place Nov. 4-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Products also will be featured in the January/February 2024 issue of Healthcare Design magazine. (See coverage of the 2022 Nightingale Awards winners.
