AdventHealth will grow its Winter Park campus again with a newly announced emergency room expansion. According to an article in the Orlando Business Journal, the Altamonte Springs-based nonprofit health care system is preparing to build a 27,000-square-foot, 32-bed emergency room expansion at the hospital in Winter Park, Fla.
Reporter Ryan Lynch writes: “Construction crews will tear down part of the hospital in late January [2020] to start construction on the new ER in spring 2020…The expansion will include all private rooms, two bariatric rooms and a separate ambulance entrance. The facility also will offer a separate pediatric waiting area and rooms for children.”
