Today, we launched our Season 4 of the 2023 MedCity Pivot Podcast. This episode and the other two this year will focus on health equity. The reasons don’t need to be enumerated for readers of MedCity News and indeed anyone who has paid attention to the death and vaccination data of people of color during Covid.
So how does a health system address the intractable problem of health inequities. We turned to Dr. Alisahah Jackson, system vice president of population health innovation and policy at CommonSpirit Health. She is also the inaugural president of CommonSpirit’s Lloyd H. Dean Institute of Humankindness and Health Justice.
