volume covers 42 common non-oncologic diseases, illustrating connections
between the molecular causes of the disease and its symptoms. The book is
expected to be a valuable reference for biochemists, biologists, medical
professionals, students, and all who want to learn more about cellular and
molecular mechanisms in human disease.
Disease Pathways was authored by a team of renowned scientists
and experts, including Anastasia P. Nesterova, Eugene A. Klimov, Maria Zharkova,
Sergey Sozin, Vladimir Sobolev, Natalia V. Ivanikova, Maria Shkrob and Anton
Yuryev. Featuring more than 145 color illustrations, the disease pathways depicted
in the book are based on computational models from Elsevier’s Disease Pathway
Collection.
